How do I deal with a asshole on YouTube?

Okay, this fight between me and one of my friends with a certain guy on YouTube has been going on for a month now!



The story is, there was a HUGE Miley/Jonas/Justin fangirl who tracked down haters and trolled their videos. She kept trolling all the metalheads and told them they were devil worshippers and when they replied, she told them to go to church and stop listening to devil music. Anyway, this girl (her name was Amanda) thought that Justin Bieber was going to marry her and a creep stalked her on Formspring.me claiming to be "Justin Bieber." And she gave out her address and phone number to this "Justin Bieber!"



While this was happening, she continued to troll metalheads, including my friend, on both Formspring and YouTube. So, to get back at her, I made a YouTube account and I pretended to be Justin. I just had some fun with her and had a laugh behind her back as she harassed people. But when the got out of hand, my friend used that account to get Amanda's password and Amanda gave it to her, thinking it was Justin Bieber, and her channel was cleared. Now that may seem a really mean thing of her to do, but there was no way Amanda would stop. When people blocked her, she claimed they knew she was right and that devil music was bad, etc., etc.

One glitch. this guy (who BTW is a 30 year old male) was friends with Amanda (13 years old), and as soon as Amanda got hacked, he thought I hacked her, so he called me all sorts of insults and wished I would die, etc. So my friend stepped in and "confessed." That's how the fight started. It recently ended, and we thought all was good, but it wasn't because, when my friend faved a death metal video (the guy hates death metal) and made it her featured video, the 30 yr old guy came back and told her she had faved "dog ****." When my friend asked him to respect his opinion, he just came back and told her that she was buthurt and that he was right. So she blocked him, and now he's gloating over how he "owned" her and how death metal shouldn't be called music at all.

Her other friends and I are trying to get back at him.



The bigger problem is. I sent a message to one of my friends on YouTube for help, and he said he would message the guy and see what's going on. The guy LIED to him that we were trolls and he never wanted us to speak to him again! We DID end the fight, but he popped out of NOWHERE and bashed my friend's music taste! And we never trolled him!



I can't block him, he'll write all sorts of crap that he "owned" us, etc., etc. How do I deal with this guy and make things right with my friend?





BY THE WAY, I put this question in Rock And Pop because this heavily has to deal with the topic of death metal, since the whole argument was refueled by that. Plus, I didn't want to deal with the adults telling me this is pointless, because it is. Remember, this DID end, but that creep just HAD to refuel the whole thing!



I want nothing more than this whole thing to end, so I sent him THIS message last night:

The fight was over. We were cool. Then you started it again by bashing [my friend]'s music taste. That's still fine w/ me. YouTube is about expressing/respecting opinions. Then you lied to one of my friends online, calling us trolls. You told him you wanted nothing more than us to never talk to you again. I never trolled you. I want nothing more than this pointless argument to end. It did end. But you started it back up. My question is: why? If you want us to never speak to you again... Why the **** would you post that comment on my friend's channel, KNOWING she would respond to you, and KNOWING that would start another fight?How do I deal with a asshole on YouTube?
Oh wait, I know this one! TheRabidPosum, a 30 year old classichead who thinks Disney music is superior to Death Metal %26amp; DawnPedo and his failed attempt at an internet cop who blocks every 3rd person he comes across? AHAHAAHAHA you DO know Posum came to me first? (I hope you know who I am because this all started on my channel) then everyone took a big dump on that channel. How the bloody hell did this spill on Y!A? This has been going on for 3 months, Posum and Dawny need to get laid and stop acting like their 'open minded' when they suck up to every mainstream trend.



TheRabidPosum befriends idiots who spell worse than a horse's butt, and gives their password away TO THE PUBLIC , then you've got DawnPatrol who supports anything TRP does, and points arrows at people who prove him wrong and calls them lifeless trolls, because he can't just do it on their own channel. (which is, ironicly hypocritical because Amanda WAS a troll, its quite obvious). This guy hides behind the block button and throws a pissy fit over every comment we leave him. Honestly, what does blocking achieve? He's gotta come out of his closet (or his mom's basement) sometime.



It's odd because everytime I prove these idiots wrong they deny it and tell me to "get a life," "stop being a troll," yadayadayadah. Isn't Youtube just a great place to take advantage of morons?

Let him gloat. If he is that pathetic at 30 years old to act this way with teens and their arguments then nothing you say or do is gonna make him stop. To be the grown up you'll have to walk away.
Well, just try to ignore it. I recently had the same exact problem with some creep. But you can report comments/messages. Go on Youtube's home page, scroll all the way down to the bottom, go to "Safety" [in the the blue lettering] and it should lead you to something like Safety Center. DON'T go to "Spam or Phishing" b/c that's just for stuff like copyright. You can report this person like this:

1. You should already be @ the Safety Center page on Youtube like I said earlier in this paragraph.

2. It will say, "What is your issue?" and click on " Harassment %26amp; Cyber-bullying ".

3. Click on it the dot to the left of " Harassment %26amp; Cyber-bullying " %26amp; press the continue button.

4. Now, you should be on a page that says " Safety Center: Harassment and Cyberbullying " go down to "How can I stop Harassment %26amp; Cyberbullying?" and there should be a little colored link ( a word, no URL) and on the 4th bullet, it will say " Delete and block using YouTube's Help %26amp; Safety Tool " and click on "Help %26amp; Safety Tool". On the first page, it should say "What is the issue" on the top, %26amp; "Who is for?" on the bottom. Than, etc. Hopefully there are no bad comments or messages that have been deleted, b/c that is what they mainly want to look for. Unfortunately, (or fortunately) you can not do anything except block/ignore the user if you don't have a bad message/comment from them. You'd need to show the "proof" when you type in the users name, it will take you to comments on your channel, video, or personal messages from this user. But there is one downfall that I am not so sure of - if this persons account might get deleted. But at least the person wont bother your friend or you. If this creep knows the real account you have... he might report you [if he even knows how to] if you made bad messages back. Youtube doesn't care who started it, they say if you are the "victim" and replied with something bad/threatening/inappropriate (not saying that you did), you can be seen as guilty as the other person who started harassing you %26amp; your friend. This is why I barley go on Y/T anymore. These creeps follow you. And if worst comes worst [I mean if everyone is harassing you] secretly make another account. It's a good idea. Sometimes, Youtube randomly closes accounts. I did that, added all my friends, %26amp; stayed on that one for a while. I don't use that it much now, as my first account though. DON"T close your account though. You can re-upload your videos on the new account, if you'd like to [just a suggestion, but I didn't].

Dang!! Im so sorry for what your going through on YouTube. Block him! He might go on about it but at least you will have no contact from him again! Report him saying that he is being disrespectful and he is stirring up arguments and you want nothing to do with him. By the way "Amanda" should know whats right from wrong if shes 13 she shouldent be giving out passwords and addresses!! Even if it was the real Justin Bieber! You never know she might of been taken away by now. BTW Justin real YouTube is kidruahl
